I can’t believe Christmas is next week… How did it get here so fast?? Have I been that busy!? I haven’t even shopped for gifts yet!! Thankfully, I have all weekend to get that done and will definitely be taking advantage of this ONE day off I have!
In the meantime, I wanted to share my love for these jeans I have on! I am big on amazing jeans and if they don’t fit right you wont see me in them at all! So, if you ever see me posting jeans, you know they’re amazing and totally worth it!! This particular pair is from Cult of Individuality and fits AMAZING. I will tell you straight if I dislike a pair and these are the perfect softness and aren’t too thick or stiff. Perfect in my book!!
They are also giving away one $2K gift card to use on their online shop! All you have to do is follow CULT on Instagram in order to enter – https://cultofindividuality.
Oh, and how great are these shoes from Sole Society?! PERFECT for New Years!!! Not too tall and not too short. They are the most comfy shoes I think I own!

Oh HEY, holidays! You totally didn’t sneak up on me or anything. I can’t believe we only have a couple of weeks until Christmas. I know everyone says it, but this year literally flew by! It feels like Thanksgiving was just a few days ago!
To get into those good ole’ holiday feels, I have thrown together TWO super festive, sequin outfits for your viewing pleasure! Dressing for the holidays is such a pain and it’s even stressful for me every year, and I dress people for a living!!
I figured I would help everyone out and showcase two totally different types of glam looks; a beaded dress and a sequin pants look. I know not everyone wants to be in a sequin mini all day/night long so I threw in a comfy, sequin legging idea too. Most people aren’t to fond of sporting crazy sequin leggings, but I have to tell you, these are so comfortable and you can definitely tone them down!

Finally posting my all time favorite turtleneck! I got such a huge response on Instagram when I posted this, I figured I should shoot an entire outfit.
Want to know the best thing about this turtleneck? You can wear it backwards and not even know! Hahahaha, and I totally did this on accident until I realized and quickly turned it around to finish the shoot. BUT HEY, it’s versatile!!
I shot this a couple of different ways to show that you can definitely layer if it gets chilly, or you can just wear by itself and dress it up with a cute hat or beanie.

Who’s ready for the holidays?! This girl!!! This is the first of three posts showcasing my favorite holiday get-ups that are sure to be show-stoppers! Not only that, but they will be extremely comfortable as well. As you know from the last post, I am all about comfort! So, if I am going out to celebrate the holidays and/or New Years, I need something that is going to allow me to stand for hours and still stay comfy.
This first dress is the perfect holiday outfit that gives a small hint of sexy in the side cutouts without going overboard. I am extremely conservative with my wardrobe and absolutely fell in love with this cute dress. You can throw on some OTKs or black pumps to show off those legs or throw some tights on underneath if you are cold. Extremely versatile and very affordable!

The best thing about Austin is the lack of dressing up. Coming from Fort Worth, this was quite a shock since we would dress up just to go to the grocery store! My day-to-day consists of working and errands the majority of the time so comfort is definitely key. This look is literally what I am wearing on a daily basis. The key for me is comfortable, light weight, layered clothes with shoes I can walk around in everyday. This is my uniform! So, if you ever see me out and about in Austin, I will definitely be in the most casual outfit possible. Everything posted below is extremely affordable and will keep you comfy ALL day long! A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of staying at the most gorgeous hotel EVER; The Hotel Emma. Believe it or not, I am definitely not over exaggerating. The attention to detail in this hotel was out of this world. The hotel kept the majority of the original buildings bones and characteristics, but that’s all I am going to say! You need to see this place for yourself! I can’t say enough good things about it!
Here’s a brief intro to the hotel –
The hotel is named in honor of Emma Koehler, a towering figure in Pearl history. Emma ran the brewery after her husband and Pearl president Otto Koehler died in 1914. She was an ingenious CEO who kept the brewery going during Prohibition by converting operations to dry cleaning and auto repair, and making near beer, ice cream and soda. While other breweries were shutting down, Emma kept her entire workforce employed. She turned over control of the company to a nephew in 1933, but was a formidable presence at the brewery until her death in 1947.
And now, on to the outfit photos!!
Not only was this hotel gorgeous on the inside and out, there were so many great photoshoot opportunities! A massive cold front had blown in the evening we were staying and the next morning was overly chilly and rainy. Thankfully, I actually packed a few warm pieces like my ever-so-soft blanket scarf and beanie!! If you haven’t noticed already, I can’t live without a beanie in the winter!!

Who doesn’t love a dress that makes you feel like a million bucks?? I know, I do and will continue to rave about this dress! Not only is it affordable, it feels amazing. And fits like a glove! The stripes and color combos are strategically placed to maximize the best assets, if you know what I mean!

Is there anything better than a short sleeve turtleneck?? Not only is this top extremely easy to layer, it is beyond comfortable! And what’s better than that?? OH WAIT… It’s only $17 from Axquisite Boutique!!!! If you know me, I love to layer and I love amazing deals on clothes. I try not to spend a pretty penny on Fall clothing in Texas because our weather is all over the place. I would only get a couple months of wear out of my winter wear, so why not just buy pieces you can layer and wear into Spring and Summer?
